Working within our UK board of directors the ideal candidate will understand all aspects of the commercial process and be able to support and develop the people within their team to succeed.

This position plays a vital role in shaping Pall-Ex Group’s future. You will lead a dynamic, successful team, support over 130 businesses, and collaborate closely with our senior leadership and shareholder members to ensure the business remains profitable, robust and commercially sustainable.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking commercial strategy that drives sales revenue growth and enhances profitability.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on commercial goals, from sales to analytics.

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships, strong working relationships throughout the Pall-Ex Group Network and be close to market trends to remain ahead of the competition

  • Building customer satisfaction: Creating programs to enhance client retention and brand loyalty

  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, driving performance and motivating your team to exceed targets

  • Promote and develop a positive brand with exceptional presentation skills, ensuring high standards of customer service and always striving for excellence

  • Embrace IT developments to ensure market leading commercial initiatives are implemented successfully and deliver exceptional results.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a successful Commercial  / Business Development senior leader.

  • A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing high-performance teams and driving change.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for identifying new opportunities and developing strategies that maximise business success.

  • Strong people management skills from the board level down.

  • Ideally, a background in the Pallet Network industry or logistics sector with a strong network of industry contacts.
