For the seventh year running, Pall-Ex Group has been taking part in March in March to raise vital funds for Combat Stress, in support of veterans’ mental health across the UK.

We are now at the halfway point of March in March and staff and members from across Pall-Ex Group have collectively raised more than £2500 and walked over 420 miles on behalf of Combat Stress.
Combat Stress’ annual fundraising event challenges those taking part to walk, run or roll a minimum of 10 miles throughout the month of March. All funds raised during March in March go towards treating complex mental health problems faced by veterans, giving them access to psychologists, treatment programmes and peer support.
Split into teams made up of day operations staff, office staff and members against the night operations team, competition to raise the most money has been fierce! The fittingly titled ‘Night Walkers’ have so far raised £1571 with the Pall-Ex team sitting at £979.
A special mention to Edmond Thompson, who has already raised a huge £740 whilst walking 80 miles, a fantastic achievement with the rest of the month still to go! With the original target set to walk ten miles, most of the team has already far surpassed that point.
As part of the March in March challenge, members of the Pall-Ex night operations team are taking on the Three Peaks challenge, hoping to complete it in under 24 hours to boost their fundraising efforts. John Bisland, Hub Manager, and Edmond Thompson will be taking on Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in under 24 hours to push themselves to the limit and raise as much money as possible.
Combat Stress has been a long-standing charity partner of Pall-Ex Group, with the business passionate about supporting veterans in all capacities through fundraising, job opportunities and training and qualifications.
