Location: Victoria Road, Ellistown, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 1FH and Units 1-3, Watling Park, Station Rd, Northampton NN6 7XY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QHSE Manager to join our HSE team. The role is responsible for QHSE management across two Hubs – Coalville and Northampton. Pall-Ex operate a 24/6 working operation and therefore attendance at either site may occasionally fall within unsociable hours.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and monitor Health and Safety management systems
Identify issues and opportunities for continual improvement and work with the team to ensure they are actioned
Maintain legal compliance with all aspects of the QHSE systems
Manage the internal and external audit function, schedules and complete action plans
Conduct site visits and inspections in line with audit and company requirements
Advise on new and current relevant legislation and its impact to the business operations
Additional duties as required by the Head of QHSE in line with the needs of the business
What we’d like from you
Previous experience in a health and safety role in a logistics setting would be preferable
NEBOSH Certificate (desirable)
ISO Management Certificate experience (desirable)
Strong organisation and communication skills
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Integrity, professional and people focused
The ability to work under pressure
Flexibility required within job role and working hours to assist in the needs of the business with an average of two nights per week working evenings / nights

The working hours are Monday to Friday we are looking for flexibility in hours due to business needs.
