Our people are the beating heart of our operation, and our drivers are out on the roads whatever the weather is to make sure every delivery reaches its final destination. We spoke to one of our LGV drivers, Josh Helley, to find out more about his role and what he enjoys most about working at Pall-Ex Logistics.

What is your role at Pall-Ex Logistics and what are your key responsibilities?
I am a Class 2 Driver at Pall-Ex Logistics, so I am out on the road delivering and collecting palletised goods.
How did you get into the logistics industry?
Through a friend of a friend.
What sets Pall-Ex Logistics apart from other logistics companies?
The team are all really friendly and everyone gets along with each other. It is a very welcoming place to come to work.
What does a great day at work look like for you?
Everything going just as planned – no breakdowns, no road closures and all ETAs met. It is even better if the sun is shining!
What has been your most memorable moment at Pall-Ex Logistics so far?
Definitely when I passed my Class 2 test. This opened up a new opportunity for me and allowed me to progress in my career.
What is the most unusual freight you have seen transported?
I have seen many weird and wonderful things throughout my years in the industry, anything you can think of putting on a pallet, I have delivered. But the most unusual thing I have seen is a full motorbike!
